Dr. Robert Ellis

Your Mini Dental Implant Dentist

I attended Ricks college and later EITC. I relocated to Oak Ridge Tennessee where I worked as a rad con tech, I wanted to return to Idaho and took employment at the INEL and was employed for three years when budget cuts forced my layoff. After much consideration, I sold everything and returned to school attending ISU and then Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wi for Dental school. I graduated in 2001. Dental school was tough but I loved the clinic and was fortunate to excel there.

Smaller In Size

Mini dental implants are significantly smaller than traditional implants, and therefore don’t require extensive, painful surgery.

Quicker Healing Time

A less invasive procedure that results in faster healing time, virtually no discomfort, and fewer visits to the dental office.

Immediate Results

Without the lengthy healing time of traditional implants, mini dental implants allow you to get your new teeth right away.

Less Expensive

In most cases, the mini dental implant procedure is much less expensive than a traditional implant case.

No More Decay

Mini dental implants are made out of titanium and they are not subject to decay and periodontal disease.

Preserves Bone Structure

If you have missing teeth you may have lost a large portion of the bone in your jaw. Mini dental implants will halt bone loss.

What Are Mini Dental Implants?

Mini Dental Implants are the newest breed in implant dentistry. Dr. Ellis uses the Mini Dental Implants to help hold loose dentures in position or to replace individual and multiple missing teeth. They can even be used to replace a full arch of teeth often in just one short visit.

Mini Dental Implant Solutions

From regular check-ups to bridges and mini dental implants, our caring professionals will treat your family’s dental health needs throughout your lives.

Replace Missing Teeth: Single or Multiple

Replacing a single tooth with a single tooth implant does not endanger the health of the neighboring teeth. Because a dental implant will replace your tooth root, the bone is better preserved. Dental implants integrate with your jawbone, helping to keep the bone healthy and intact.

Several missing teeth can also be replaced with individual implants. With this method, a dental implant will be placed at the site of each missing tooth, providing ideal replicas of your lost teeth. Multiple teeth may also be restored with an implant bridge, which is a prosthetic comprised of three or more crown units, depending upon the number of missing teeth.

Stabilizing Loose Full/Partial Dentures

One of the most rewarding and exciting new procedures in dentistry today is the system for making loose dentures tight and comfortable. Mini dental implants provide denture patients with the ability to eat, smile and speak with confidence. In as little as 1 hour, 4-6 dental implants can be placed and your dentures can be fitted over the implants. The patient leaves the office with stable dentures that can be used right away.

In addition, placement of these implants results in little to no postoperative discomfort. Many patients who were not candidates for conventional implants because they didn’t have enough bone or because of finances are now mini dental implant candidates.

Semi Removable Bridge

Made of Hybrid Resin or Zirconia, the removable bridge involves placement of between 6-10 implants, determined by bone volume and bone quality. This is a fixed hybrid bridge that can be detached by the dentist as needed at recall cleaning visits.

Fixed Zirconia Bridge

The Fixed Roundhouse Zirconia Bridge involves placement of between 10-12 implants, determined by the bone volume and bone quality. The final bridge is tried in for patient comfort and aesthetic approval and then cemented in place. You no longer need to worry about your teeth moving or falling out because this is a cemented zirconia bridge.
